I know his work has been passed around a lot lately but Alfred T. Palmer’s color work is so far ahead of it’s time it isn’t even funny. He was shooting direct flash 5 decades before Terry Richardson!
The best part about all of this is that the U.S. Government apparently used to commission art and we can download hi-res files at the LOC. Those must have been the days…
