The moonrise last week was insane. I was photographing a Mormon church and I saw it coming up behind the mountains and it almost looked like the sunrise but more blue. I thought the world was about to end. This is the best photo I could shoot of it.

For new followers/people who have been living in a cave, I have a tumblr for my current long term project I’m working on called Looking at Zion (working title). It is an in depth look at Mormon culture and history in Utah and I’m going to be working on it for at least the next year or so. I will be posting images, interviews and multimedia as I go along.
